This is my good friend, Liz Dalton, and myself after the race. She helped me train and stayed with me the entire race. She made running the race fun. I haven't decided yet if I want to try and run it next year - time will tell.

St George Marathon

Well I did it!! After 6 months of running, I finally finished the marathon. Going over the finish line - was my goal. Yea:)

Sunset Beach

We decided we had to go to Sunset Beach and get a picture of the sunset. You that know Dennis won't be surprised to hear that while we were there he started talking to an older couple, can you believe they were from Utah. They were enjoying the sunset too.

Church on Oahu

On the two Sundays that we were there, we went to church. The building and gardens were absolutely beautiful. It was really a neat experience to attend two wards, Manoa and McCully.

Pearl Harbor

On July 3rd we went to Pearl Harbor and toured the Missouri Battleship. We felt the patriotic spirit while we were there. Very neat!

Road to Hana

This day was crazy, we survived the road to Hana - over 600 curves and around 56 one-lane bridges. It took us 5 hours to get to the Seven Sacred Pools in Maui. It was well worth it once we got there. The two girls took a dip in one of the pools, very refreshing!!
